1. 요약(Abstract)
This research aims to develop infrastructure technology and standards for providing information on traffic safety facilities (traffic lights, safety signs, road markings) for both conventional vehicles and autonomous vehicles.
Improvements in traffic safety facilities for conventional vehicles aim to revise the installation locations, intervals, and types of traffic safety facilities, taking into account all road users, including unnecessary information that drivers do not need, as technology advances.
To support Level 4 autonomous vehicles, the research focuses on developing the technology to provide traffic safety facility information in digital form. This includes defining traffic safety facilities, developing technology, establishing a center-linked database, standardization, and developing evaluation technology.
본 연구는 일반차량과 자율주행차량을 대상으로 교통안전시설(신호기, 안전표지, 노면표시) 정보를 제공하기 위한 인프라 기술 및 표준 개발 연구임.
일반차량을 위한 교통안전시설 개선은 기술이 발전됨에 따라 운전자가 필요하지 않는 정보까지 제공하는 교통안전시설에 대하여 모든 도로 이용자를 고려한 설치 위치, 설치 간격 및 교통안전시설 종류 등을 전체적으로 개정하고자 함.
Lv. 4 자율주행차량에 대응하기 위해 교통안전시설의 정보를 디지털 정보로 제공할 수 있도록 교통안전시설의 정의, 기술 개발, 센터 연계 DB 구축, 표준화, 평가 기술 개발 등을 수행함.
