1. 요약(Abstract)
This project aims to develop infrastructure technology and standards for providing traffic safety facility information, such as signals, safety signs, and road markings, targeting Human-Driven Vehicles(HDVs) and Lv.4+ Autonomous Vehicles (AVs). Current traffic safety facilities provide information that drivers do not need, so it is necessary to revise the installation location, installation interval, and type of traffic safety facilities to take into account AVs as well as HDVs. Additionally, to accommodate Lv.4+ AVs, the project aims to provide digital information for traffic safety facilities by defining them, developing technology, establishing a center-linked database, standardizing, and developing evaluation techniques.
본 사업은 신호, 안전표지, 노면표시 등 교통안전시설물 정보를 제공하기 위한 인프라 기술 및 표준을 개발하는 것을 목표로 하며, 이를 위해 HDV와 Lv.4+ 자율주행차를 대상으로 한다. 기존의 교통안전시설물은 운전자가 필요로 하지 않는 정보를 제공하고 있어, 교통안전시설물의 설치 위치, 설치 간격, 종류 등을 HDV뿐만 아니라 AV까지 고려하여 수정할 필요가 있다. 또한, Lv.4+ AV를 수용하기 위해 교통안전시설물에 대한 디지털 정보를 정의, 기술개발, 센터 연계 데이터베이스 구축, 표준화 및 평가기법 개발 등을 통해 제공하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.
