Conference Award – 2026 Spring ITS Conference

Lucas Kervin Joshua, a Ph.D. Candidate at the Cho Chun Shik Graduate School of Mobility (KAIST), received the Outstanding Paper Award at the 2026 Korea ITS Spring Conference in Jeju.
His research applies neurosymbolic optimization to repair structural inconsistencies in household travel surveys, improving the reliability of the data behind urban mobility models. The conference, hosted by the Korean Society of Intelligent Transport Systems, is a leading academic event in the field.
