Prof. Heye Huang Awarded a New NRF Research Grant

August 2026National Research Foundation of Korea

Prof. Heye Huang of ACES Lab has been awarded a new NRF grant for her research on embodied intelligence in long-tail environments. It is welcome news for one of the newest labs in the IMPACTs family.

Her project was selected under the National Research Foundation of Korea Excellent Research Program, in the Core Research (Basic Research Type B) track, with KAIST as the host institution. The work develops continual learning methods that help embodied intelligence systems stay robust when they meet rare, high-risk situations that standard training data rarely covers.
