Hyungju Son Wins the Grand Prize at the Land, Infrastructure and Transport AI Solution Challenge

We are proud to congratulate Hyungju Son, an M.S. student in MINDS at the KAIST Cho Chun Shik Graduate School of Mobility, on winning the Grand Prize at the Land, Infrastructure and Transport AI Solution Challenge.

The challenge was a commercialization idea contest run under the Land, Infrastructure and Transport DNA Plus program, which looks for AI-based solutions and business ideas built on data from the land, infrastructure, and transport sector. At the event held at COEX on June 24, Hyungju Son was recognized for his idea and presentation and received the Grand Prize, the President’s Award from the Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement.

The work stands out for connecting real problems in the land, infrastructure, and transport sector with AI technologies, and presenting them as a solution with commercialization potential.
