
KAIST Cho Chun Shik Graduate School of Mobility to Spearhead Physical AI Talent Development
A research team from the Cho Chun Shik Graduate School of Mobility, led by Professors Inhi Kim, In Gwun Jang, Kitae Jang, and Kyunghwan Choi, has been selected for the 2026 Generative AI Leading Talent Cultivation Program, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and IITP.
The consortium is led by Lotte Innovate together with KAIST, Yonsei University, and Inha University. It will train master’s- and doctoral-level experts in Physical AI, with a focus on humanoid robotics. KAIST leads two technical domains: Vision-Language-Navigation (VLN) based data interfaces, and simulation environments for Physical AI verification. Students will join industry research and dispatch programs with access to industry-grade data and infrastructure.
