First Cohort of the KORAIL-KAIST Railway Mobility Program Celebrates Graduation
The Cho Chun Shik Graduate School of Mobility recently hosted the graduation presentations and official awards ceremony for the inaugural class of the Railway Standard Mobility Program, a specialized master’s initiative operated in close partnership with the Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL).
This cooperative program bridges KORAIL’s practical industry insights with KAIST’s advanced academic resources. During their final presentations, the graduating cohort showcased how they successfully integrated their professional railway experience with interdisciplinary mobility research to solve complex, real-world industry challenges.
We are especially proud to highlight the exceptional achievements of students from our TUPA and Human-FACTS Labs, who were honored during the ceremony:
- Outstanding Student Training Award: Sangmi Kang (Human-FACTS Lab), Suji Lim (Human-FACTS Lab), and Jihye Baek (TUPA Lab).
- Academic Excellence Award: Chunggyo Hong (TUPA Lab).
