Prof. Tiantian Chen Receives Outstanding Young Alumni Award from PolyU

We are proud to congratulate Prof. Tiantian (Nicole) Chen of HFACTS on receiving the Outstanding Young Alumni Award in Scholarly Achievement (2026) from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, her alma mater.

The award recognizes Prof. Chen’s scholarly achievements and the global reach of her research. Her work spans smart mobility, autonomous driving safety, traffic safety, and inclusive mobility for aging societies, addressing pressing challenges in future transportation. Since joining KAIST, she has built international collaborations and academic exchange while advancing the group’s research.
